Job Title: Assistant HR Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare & update organogram, manpower planning, getting manpower requisition, posting job advertisement, short listing СV, getting schedule from department heads, and conduct interviews to onboard manpower within time frame,
  • Coordinate the orientation, salary account opening process, logistic support & sitting arrangement for new employees.
  • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Design, develope and maintain overall recruitment process in the organization
  • Administer payroll by keeping track of salary changes for new recruitment, discontinuation, contract renewal, promotion, etc.
  • Prepare monthly HR change statement along with necessary HR related reports.
  • Salary and benefit analysis along with tax calculation of employees.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g.. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs and execute as per training plan.
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.

Education:

  • MBA from any reputed university (Major in HRM).

Experience:

  • 3 to 4 year(s) of practical experience.

Job Title: HR Executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems,
  • Assist the HR supervisor in day to day HR functions,
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
  • Develop training and development programs.
  • Assist in performance management processes.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Any other job assigned by the supervisor.

Skill Requirement:

  • Good communication skill.

  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.

The Daily Star is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Web Coordinator for its Digital Media Department

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with all content sections of The Daily Star with the Online Section to promote and create multi-platform contents r Coordinating with business development team to:
    i. boost online stories in social media
    ii. prepare sponsored content and ensure they are published
    iii. materialize online promotion strategy
  • Looking after Value Added Service (Vas) like IVR, SMS etc
  • Coordinating with technical partners regarding smooth implementation of Online operation
  • Coordinating Online with third party agencies
  • External correspondence for any service required by Online
  • External channel/news agency handling
  • Updating Online team on technology changes
  • Handling data analytics

Education:

Department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and design news website, web layout, banner, mockup, sketch, prototype, etc.
  • Follow and understand the design principals, guidelines, techniques and other rules in design. Gestalt theory, Google material design, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with content producers, front-end developers.

Requirements:
