ICA is a retail chain in the Nordic region. To strenghten the ICA Global Sourcing office in Dhaka we are looking for a persons who can work in a team, who are responsible, honnest and loyal.
Job Title: Merchandiser (Home textiles), HEMTEX devision
Responsibilities:
- Report to Merchandising Manager ‘Source the right and compliant supplier/ factory
- Process inquiries and price negotiation •Communicate with suppliers and overseas customers
- Responsible for product dev., sampling handle
- Follow up orders and manage delivery status
- Act as liason between supplier and company
- Merchandising admin work mcl article registration, order update…. in different data systems
Requirements:
- Degree in Textile & Clothing Technology
- Min 5 years solid experience In textile merchandising
- Familiar with different kind of quality and material
- Excellent problem solving skills ‘Assertive, able to work independently.
- Excellent communication ski Is ‘Proactive and positive
- High level of responsibility and good work ethics
- Very detailed oriented and able to work punctual and precise
Job Title: Garment Technician
Responsibilities:
- Securing product workmanship, fitting, functions and quality to meet ICA/clients safety and standard.
- Find solutions to solve technical problems
- Educate train,supports suppliers to improve quality level
- Conduct risk assessments on all samples
- Create and change specs size grading and paper pattern
- Check fabric consumption
- Check size grading, fitting, measurement, workmanship
- Conduct PP meetings with suppliers
Requirements:
- Degree in textile or garment productions
- Paper Pattern eduction
- Previous work experience as garment technician
- Preferable worked at factory and foreign souring office
- Preferable have coaching / teaching experience
- Quality conscious and attention for details
- High sense of texture, color, style,form
- Problem solver and proactive
- Accurate, structured and organized
