Anwar Group of Industries (AGI), one of the largest Group of Industries in Bangladesh established in 1834, engaged in diversified business like Building Materials, Composite Textile, Jute, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Home Decor, Automobiles and Financial Services like Banks, Insurance etc. Anwar Jute Spinning Mills Ltd, a Strategic Business Unit of Anwar Group of Industries, is looking for a Consultant for diversification of its Jute products to introduce high value added items. The Consultant may be individual or a firm/organization from Bangladesh or foreign Country. The following business expertise & aptitude are required for this position:
Key Responsibilities:
• To analyze existing production process and production facilities to find out the opportunities for product diversification to introduce high value added items as per future market trends.
• To prepare new business plan for product diversification focusing on potential market and organization’s requirements.
• To analyze cost of diversification, forecast sales & market growth opportunities and prepare the annual budget.
• To meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• To implement new business strategies aligned with current and forecasted market trends.
• To ensure the production, maintenance, machineries and required technical competencies of manpower.
• To provide solid advice to prepare accurate plan for new machineries and project related material purchase.
• To ensure new projects are completed within budgets and schedules by meeting quality.
Requirement for Individual Consultant:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Jute yam production/ Product diversification.
• Project planning and implementation experience.
• Willing to take challenge and convert the challenges into opportunities.
• Analytical mind with excellent data capturing and analyzing skills.
• Creative problem-solving aptitude with Strong interpersonal skills.
• Possess extensive product and market knowledge.
Requirement for Consulting Firm:
• The must have 5 years of relevant experience in the fields.
• The firm needs to have expert employee having required competency mentioned above for individuals.
