City General Insurance Company Limited Job Circular

City General Insurance Company Limited is a second generation non-life Insurance Company incorporated as public limited company in Bangladesh. To meet our expanding business requirements we are seeking applications from the potential candidates for the following positions to be a member of this winning team:
Chief Marketing Officer:
•    Having 20 Years working experience in Sales & Marketing department of which at least 8 years exposure in senior position in Group of Companies & / or Multinational Companies with Masters degree.
•    Developing and implementing marketing plan and strategies based on market analysis to maximize the market share in highly competitive market scenario.
•    Creating, implementing and measuring the success of comprehensive marketing, communications and public relation program that will enhance the organization’s market growth and position.
•    Defining marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives.
•    Developing a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
General Manager, Business Development:
•    Masters with 15 years of experience of which at least 5 years exposure in a leading position. Experienced in AD Branches of a commercial bank will be given preference.
•    Designing and implementing strategies, plans and procedures to maximize the market share and profitability in a very competitive market.
•    Setting comprehensive goals and lead the team accordingly to maximize performance and dedication.
•    Set up constantly minor competitive landscape company trends and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues and risk in order to recommend tactical strategies.
Head, Finance & Accounts:
•    Chartered Accountant/CA (CC) with MBA/Masters in Accounting/Finance with 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts department of any insurance company.
•    Designing, implementing and controlling of all types of Finance, Accounts and Costing of the Company.
•    Ensuring credibility of Finance department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
•    Must be experienced in handling all banks correspondence, liaison and coordination with them.

Manager, Business Development:
•    Having 10 years of experience in insurance sectors with Masters in any discipline of reputed institutions.
•    Implementing the marketing strategies and promote all types of insurance contracts or suggest additions/changes to existing ones.
•    Breeding productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold-calling, using referrals etc.
•    Conducting needs analysis for businesses and individuals for risk coverage assessments to achieve acquisition & growth objectives.
Manager, Human Resource:
•    MBA/Masters in HRM with minimum 7 years of experience in insurance sectors.
•    Planning, recruiting, developing and motivating the human resource to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business.
•    Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures within the company.
Assistant Manager, IT:
•    Having at least 5 years of experience in IT profession with Masters/B.Sc (Engg) in CSE from reputed university.
•    Establishing network specifications (e.g. interface configuration) by conferring with users and ability to investigate Network, Hardware & Software related problems.
•    Evaluating network performance issues: planning and executing the selection, installation & configuration and establishing firewalls.
•    Working knowledge of DBMS and experience in installing & migrating of different databases (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, etc.).
Assistant Manager, Share Department:
•    Having 3 years of experience in share department of any listed company with Masters in Accounting from reputed institutions.
•    Communicate and maintain good relationship with Government Regulatory Authorities such as BSEC, DSE, CSE and CDBL for share related activities.
•    Having ability to handle cash/stock dividend distribution to shareholders through BEFTN and CDBL.

Senior Executive, Business Development:
•    Masters with at least 2-3 years of experience in insurance sectors.
•    Having good communication and interpersonal skill to interact with customers and advising them during their doubts or convince those regarding policies & services.
•    Maintaining excellent data of the clients, visiting them personally, so that to strengthen the relationship with customer.
•    Having ability to meet the target and work under stress.
Executive Officer, Reinsurance:
•    Maters/MBA in Finance/Banking & Insurance from reputed university.
•    Responsible for pricing of existing/new products to ensure profitable targets are met with adequate consideration to the inherent risks in the portfolio.
•    Responsible for ensuring timely submission and filling of premium certificates for products with MAS.
•    Providing support for ad-hoc/statistics and have active participation in discussions with different business units.
Executive Officer, Claims:
•    Maters/MBA in Finance/Banking & Insurance from reputed university.
•    Handling commercial claims mainly include Motor, Fire, Marine, Marine Hull, Miscellaneous (e.g. CIT, CIS, MBD, DOS, etc.), etc.
•    Assisting in managing claims from consumer lines during high volume and based on its prepare statistics & reports.
•    Accessing policy liability, computing and determining claim amount payable based on policy cover and in accordance with management guidelines.
