Name of the Post: Deputy Manager (ICT)-System Administrator

Quantity: 01 (One)
Maximum Age Limit: 36 Years.
Gross Salary: Tk 60.000 (Monthly)

Eligibility of Candidates:
(A) Academic Qualification:
Masters in any subject or Masters/B.Sc in Engineering and/or Computer Sdence/Engineering with minimum 2nd Division/Class in all the examinations. Preference will be given to the candidates having Masters/B.Sc in Engineering and/or Computer Science/Engineering.

(В) Professional Qualification/T raining:
Candidates must have professional certification/training on Unix based OS (Certification/training on AIX or OS running in the production environment will be preferred). Candidates must also

• Have solid understanding and practical knowledge on Unix based operating systems, volume manager, volume striping for best I/O performance, shell scripting. RAID technology, cron scheduling etc;
• Have expertise on Unix system administration, user administration and security (practical knowledge of AIX or OS running in the production environment will be considered as an added advantage);
• Be able to set system parameters to enforce security and control resource usage as per security rules, detect instrusion and enforce protections immediately;
• Be able to install software/patches in Unix environment;
• Have practical knowledge on Clustering (specially high availability);
• Have practical knowledge on external storage. SAN system;
• Be able to carry out backup and recovery activity;
• Have practical knowledge of using third party backup/recovery tools such as Ligato/Tivoli/Others;
• Be able to use SSH Telnet, ftp, sftp Mail and similar/relevant tools;
• Have good knowledge on LAN and WAN;
• Have practical knowledge on Microsoft windows server latest version(s) and any other required qualification on need basis.

Experience:
At least 3 years’ experience of working in IT field including at least 2 years’ experience in system administration of Unix based OS and at least 1 year’s experience of maintaining Unix system in 24×7 mission critical environment.
