It was set up as a joint venture between the Government of Bangladesh and sponsors in the private sector in 1976. IRC Bank was converted into a full fledged commercial bank in 1983. The Government of Bangladesh still holds 32.75% of its shares. Directors and Sponsors own 11.31% of the share capital and the rest is held by the general public.

The Bank is looking for some fresh graduates as “Management Trainee” for the following Divisions of IFIC Bank Limited:
The position offers monthly consolidated remuneration of Тк.45Д20.00 during the period of probation. On successful completion of one year probation period, the employees will be absorbed in the regular services of the Bank as Senior Officer and integrated with the pay and service rule of the Bank. All MTs will be required to give surety bond for serving the Bank for a minimum period of 05 years including the probation period.
