Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), a public-private partnership organization, is the market leader in developing and financing private sector large, medium and small-scale infrastructure as well as renewable energy projects.
IDCOL solicits applications for the positions mentioned beside:

Chief Risk Officer (CRO): 1 post

A. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assume primary responsibility for overseeing the development and implementation of the firm’s risk management function;
  • Support the management in its implementation, review and approval of enterprise-wide risk governance framework including risk culture, risk appetite, RAS and risk limits;
  • Manage the implementation of all aspects of risk function, including policies, processes, tools and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risks;
  • Participate in key decision-making processes from risk related perspective (e.g. strategic planning, capital and liquidity planning, new products and services, operation);
  • Establish early warning or trigger system for breaches of the firm’s risk appetite or limits;
  • Conduct compliance, legal and risk assessments;
  • Lead, supervise and motivate the Debt Recovery Team and implement the most suitable recovery strategy; and
  • Maintain compliances for all stakeholders including develop -ment partners,central bank and other regulatory bodies.

B. Qualifications

  • An advanced degree (at least Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or other relevant field;
  • Extensive understanding in project finance, public policy, development finance, and financial and operational risk management on a global scale;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Excellent oral and written professional proficiency in English; and
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience is required for this senior management position.

Assistant Vice President / Manager (Large Infrastructure): 1 post

A. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate new business and develop strong project pipeline for investment consideration;
  • Participate in deal structuring and loan negotiation meetings;
  • Prepare / review project appraisal reports including financial model;
  • Manage the agency / security trustee operation under the unit;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, banks and FIs, development partners, and other stakeholders;
  • Coordinate with other units to ensure the relevant internal/external compliances are met;
  • Review and update credit and loan files; and
  • Prepare internal and other donor specific project progress reports.

B. Qualifications

  • Bachelor with Honors in business administration with minimum CGPA of 3.00;
  • Strong command in developing business strategies, financial / credit analysis and relationship management;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Minimum 5-year relevant work experience (7-year for AVP position) at managerial position preferably in the structured finance/syndication department of a bank/financial institution; and
  • Experience in agency operation and knowledge on legal documentation will be considered as an added advantage.

Senior Officer (Credit Recovery): 1 post

A. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing sound acceptable credit policies;
  • Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare report on highest risk accounts including recommendation and resolution;
  • Follow-up of overdue loans vide telephone calls, visits etc.
  • Maintaining records of bad debt and bad debt recovery;
  • Identifying problem accounts requiring agency or legal action and coordinate collection engaging third party;
  • Coordinate with legal department to generate legal documentation/procedures to be used in credit recovery;
  • Interact with customers to obtain additional credit informaion to support credit lines;
  • Coordinating and supervising the activities of officials working in his/her team;

B. Qualifications

  • Bachelor with Honors/BBA/MBA with minimum CGPA of 3.00;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English; and
  • Minimum 3-years work experience in the relevant field.

Senior Officer/ Management Trainee (LAW): 1 post

A. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting in preparation, vetting, review of legal documents under various loans.
  • Assisting the Manager, Legal and Corporate Affairs Department in preparation of various kinds of legal documents.
  • Ensuring that borrowers are in compliance with their obligations under various finance documents.
  • Ensuring that conditions precedents are satisfied by the borrowers before drawdown of loans.
  • Maintaining custody of legal and security documents under various loans.
  • Interactions with the clients, conducting initial meetings with the clients, taking down details, receive documents, keeping in touch with clients and follow-up.
  • Assisting the Head of Legal Department to provide legal opinion, if needed.

B. Qualifications

  • LLM/LL.B (Hons)/Bar-at-Law with minimum CGPA of 3;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English;and
  • Minimum 1-year of work experience (3-year for Senior Officer position) with reputed law firms/ multilateral agencies/ banks and financial institutions.

Management Trainee (HRM) :1 post

A. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing support to supervisors and staff to develop the skill and capabilities of staff;
  • Monitoring staff performance and attendance activities.;
  • Coordinating staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff;
  • Providing information and assistance to staff, supervisors and the management on human resource and work related issues.
  • Performing other related duties as required.

B. Qualifications

  • BBA/Master degree in HRM/ Management with minimum CGPA of 3;
  • Computer skills with ability to type in Bangla;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English; and
  • Experience in relevant field will be an added advantage.
