Position: Head of Strategy, Policy & Analysis

Role Overview

The objective of the role is to set strategic direction for Business Environment Management (BEM), strengthen collaboration between GP Corporate Affairs and Telenor Group Corporate Affairs functions, cross-functional coordination between Corporate Affairs and other functions of GP, define policy and regulatory positions for the company and drive end-to-end implementations of some strategic regulatory ambitions.

Job Responsibility

1. Strategic priorities: Set strategic direction and priorities for the Corporate Affairs Division through the Business Environment Management Plan and Business Environment Management Forum to enable the business strategy.
   Example of scope: Coordinate development of the annual BEM Plan for 2018-2021, and use BEM Forum for strategic directions.
2. Cross-functional coordination: Drive cross-functional projects on behalf of Corporate Affairs, to amplify the ability to shape regulatory frameworks, policy decision, and build reputation towards relevant stakeholders.
   Example of scope: Project management role for advocacy activities related spectrum processes, transformation programs, tax policies etc. and leveraging communication and sustainability platforms for stakeholder engagement.
3. Policy positions: Define future-oriented policy and regulatory positions for Grameenphone and coordinate submission to consultation processes.
   Example of scope: Develop pro-active policy positions on free flow of data, digital and e-commerce services, SMP regulations etc, and also drive & participate in ongoing consultation processes by BTRC.
4. International stakeholders: Maintain and develop relationships with international stakeholders, in coordination with the Telenor Group to shape regulatory and policy framework and reputation building.
   Example of scope: International organizations (World Bank, ITU, IMF, IFC) and industry organization (GSMA, AMTOB, FICCI, NCCI)

Educational Qualifications
Masters Is preferred

Experience

10+ Years of experience in relevant field
